24 June 2015: The UN/EDIFACT directory version D.15A has been validated by BPS Validation Team and approved by UN/CEFACT Bureau for publication. It is now available in the UN/EDIFACT section of the UN/CEFACT website and can be downloaded from the UN/EDIFACT Directories.

UN/CEFACT is a subsidiary, intergovernmental body of the UNECE Committee of Trade. UN/CEFACT is managed by a bureau comprising a Chair and several Vice-chairs. It has global membership and its members are experts from intergovernmental organizations, individual countries' authorities and also from the business community.

UN/CEFACT develops and publishes:
- technical standards, i.e. specifications that establish how one or more business standards and/or recommendations will be developed;
