Project Purpose
The project's purpose is to facilitate cross border exchange of data between health care providers and health insurance companies for the reimbursement of claims. Therefore we will prepare a submission of CCs and models of building blocks for Health Insurance in the field of reimbursement of claims.Project Scope
Over the last few years the insurance domain in UN/CEFACT has developed a complete set of core components for the administration of contracts. The focus was on private property and casualty insurance and on motor insurance for private vehicles and commercial fleets. Now the insurance domain will extend its development to health insurance to support the exchange of data in the field of reimbursing claims.Project Deliverables
The project deliverables are • Submission of core components (ACC, BCC, ASCC) to the UN/CEFACT Core Component Library. • Models of building blocks with data for the reimbursement of claimsExit Criteria
The project will be finalised when the submission of the core components and building blocks and their harmonisation within UN/CEFACT succeeds in the publication of a UN/CEFACT CCL containing the new core components and the library containing the building blocks. If during the course of the project the project team membership falls to a level that the project goal cannot be reached anymore the project will closed by the project leader.Project Team Membership and Required Functional Expertise
