Goals Going through the feedbacks for MLETR draft Outline (draft ToC Version 0.1) from UN/CEFACT Experts. Discussion items Time Item Who Notes 3min ToC item 3 Luca and Sue pointed that practical use cases are helpful and especially for UN/CEFACT, and to start with Bill of Lading. Simone also agreed to focus on Bill of Lading. 5min ToC item 4 Lance explained to put in text what functionalities these solutions can provide. Miriam suggest to monitor ICC DSI(renamed DTSI) and invite inputs from them if appropriate. 10min ToC item 6 Miriam agreed with David to use the existing systems as an illustration. Miriam informed that since last June, the International Group of P&I Clubs had approved 3 BL systems that are Blockchain-based and suggest to use Blockchain-based systems for illustration. Lance shared that as a White Paper, the guidelines with regards to technology-neutrality were not as strict. This was seconded by Tahseen Khan who also opined that some technology detail needed to be covered. Kay summarised from the discussion, the consensus to look at the broad categories of technologies. Luca explained accreditation could be put in as a guidance. David explained the accreditation could be guidelines that says if a technology is MLETR-compliant. Link Forbes article comparing blockchain to the internet
