Goals
- Reports and discussion of activities in DGMOVE, WCO DMPT IMO, ISO TC 204 and others
- Update on model outreach - air cargo (IATA), rail freight (UIC), road haulage (IRU and TLF/FIATA), inland water (?) and maritime (IMO and SMDG)
- News about and future of the SDMG & UN/CEFACT cooperation
- Work on eCRM and MMT model; development of BRS for a new data pipeline model
- ODP Project and Reference Data Model tool training

ISO TC 204:
Experts are kindly requested to review the standard proposal (ISO Form 4) before official ISO ballot for NP (New Project) status found here: ISO Workgroup 7 - TC 204. As you know, the first proposal for a standard on Agriculture Transport has been withdrawn after animated discussion and our lobbying with ISO members.
A compromise has been found: the Agriculture item will be referred to an existing series of standard which is generic "Monitoring cargo conditions information during Transport" and will appear as an example of business case in an annex which is informative and not normative. Therefore it should not hurt CEFACT . Attached for your information is a preliminary document describing the proposal for ISO 26683 Part 3 at this early stage of the standardisation process, which anyway will be subject to many changes.
Your comments on the doc "Form 4" will be appreciated. They are due for 15 November.
