  • 4 new members joined the team (Spain (1), INTTRA (2), COSCON (1))
  • Only National Focal Points (FPs) will be published on the Website (http://www.unece.org/cefact/locode/focalpoint.html)
  • Complete list including institutional FPs will be maintained by the Secretariat.   Upon request from the Maintenance Group, this list will be shared.

  • Welcome note (e-mail), upon the nomination of a new focal point.  Secretariat will send out the following welcome text finalized by the Team members:

“We are pleased to work with you as the UN/LOCODE Focal Point (http://www.unece.org/cefact/locode/focalpoint.html) for your Country and member of the UN/LOCODE Maintenance Group (attach ToR, http://www.unece.org/fileadmin/DAM/cefact/cf_plenary/2016_plenary/CF_2016_016E_UNLOCODE-FocalPoints.pdf), and also to welcome you as a volunteer contributor to the UN/LOCODE Feasibility Study, the first activity of the UN/LOCODE Maintenance Group, created in April 2016.”
