Actions:
A 16.3 3 UNECE - IATA will meet on 6 October 2016 to discuss about future cooperation (any suggestions and comments before 5 October 2016)
A 16.4 4 Secretariat will prepare and send invitation to all UN/LOCODE Focal Points to join the Feasibility Study Team
A 16.5 5 Online discussion Forum will be created on Confluence for general discussion.
A 16.6 6 Maritime contact list will be shared by IMO, which will be used to extend the UN/LOCODE Focal Points Network.
A 16.7 7 Based on the feedback from the above list of participants, the Secretariat will break down the flow chart and user cases.
A 16.8 8 Check the availability for the next teleconference at the end of October 2016.
Decisions:
16D16.3 3 The current free of charge services (registration, submission, search, download) will be continued in the new system.
D 16.4 4 No limitation on the number of registration to the new system.
D 16.5 5 National Focal Points could set up and maintain a policy for screening DMRs.
D 16.6 6 After the validation by the National Focal Points, the Secretariat review DMRs.
D 16.7 7 IMO decided not to pre-validate the DMRs for locations with function “1” (Ports)
D 16.8 8 IATA will pre-validate the DMRs for locations with function “4” (Airports)
D 16.9 9 UPU will pre-validate the DMRs for locations with function “5” (Postal Exchange Offices)
D 16.10 10 Secretariat will move forward with the second phase of the pilot project with ESRI.
D 16.11 11 Standardized validation procedures need to be followed.
